Jai Club - Responsible Gaming

Jai Club responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.

Play within your limits

Responsible gaming at Jai Club begins before you open the app. Decide on a fixed entertainment budget, an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing entirely, and treat it the same way you would a cinema ticket or a restaurant meal. A practical rule of thumb is capping total monthly deposits at no more than 1 to 2% of your take-home pay. Never fund your gaming wallet using money set aside for rent, EMIs, school fees, or household groceries.

When topping up your Jai Club account via PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM UPI, pause for ten seconds before confirming the transfer and ask: "Would I be genuinely upset if this disappeared immediately?" If the answer is yes, reduce the amount before proceeding. Set a phone timer for 45 to 60 minutes at the start of every session. When it rings, stop, win or lose, and close the app. Chasing losses by depositing again "just once more" is the single most common way recreational play escalates into a problem.

Keep gaming as one of several leisure activities. Maintain friendships, physical exercise, and work commitments alongside it. If Jai Club sessions start crowding out other things you enjoy, that is an early signal worth acting on immediately.

Warning signs of problem gambling

Problem gambling rarely arrives all at once. It typically develops through a pattern of small compromises. Early signs include spending more than you planned in a single session, returning the next day specifically to recover yesterday's losses, and feeling irritable or restless when you are unable to play. If a family member or colleague has commented on the time you spend gaming, take that feedback seriously rather than dismissing it.

More serious indicators include borrowing money from friends or relatives, taking personal loans, or using buy-now-pay-later services to fund deposits; lying about how much you have won or lost; skipping work deadlines or family obligations because of a session; and feeling that gambling is the only activity that relieves anxiety or boredom. If three or more of these apply to you, use the self-exclusion tools described below and seek professional support without delay.

Deposit, loss and time limits

Jai Club provides three types of player-controlled limits. A deposit limit caps how much you can transfer into your account over a chosen period, daily, weekly, or monthly. A loss limit halts play automatically once your net losses reach your chosen threshold, removing the temptation to chase. A session time limit logs you out after a set number of minutes regardless of your balance. All three are available under Account → Responsible Gaming → Spending Controls.

Reductions to any limit take effect immediately. Increases, by design, carry a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they activate, this delay protects you from impulsive decisions made mid-session. Review your limits every 30 days and adjust downward if you find yourself consistently reaching them.

Self-exclusion and cool-off

If you need a stronger pause, Jai Club offers two levels of account break. A cool-off period temporarily suspends your account for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During that window you cannot log in, deposit, or place any bets. A self-exclusion closes your account for a minimum of six months and can be extended indefinitely. To activate either option go to Account → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break, choose your duration, and confirm with your account password.

Self-exclusion requests are processed within one hour. Any remaining wallet balance is refunded to the original payment source, PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM UPI, within five business days. You may not reopen an excluded account before the chosen period expires, even if you contact support directly. This intentional friction is a feature, not a limitation.
