Jai Club - Privacy Policy

Read the Jai Club privacy policy: what information we collect, how we use and protect it, your data-protection rights, and how to contact us with any privacy questions.

Information we collect

Personal data you provide

When you register for a Jai Club membership, make a booking, or contact our support team at jaiclubofficial.com.co, we collect identity data (your full name, date of birth), contact data (email address, phone number, and billing address), and account credentials. If you sign up using a social login, we receive the profile details your chosen platform shares with us under its permissions model.

Payment and transaction data

To process purchases, we work with PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. When you pay via UPI-enabled apps such as PhonePe, Google Pay (GPay), or BHIM, the gateway transmits a tokenised transaction reference to us, we never store your UPI ID, VPA, or card number on our servers. We do retain order IDs, amounts, timestamps, and refund records for a minimum of five years to satisfy GST audit requirements under Indian tax law.

Automatically collected data

Our website collects technical and behavioural data automatically via cookies, server logs, and analytics SDKs. This includes your IP address, device type, operating system, browser version, pages visited, session duration, and the URL that referred you to our site. We use this data solely to maintain site performance and to understand aggregate usage patterns, it is not used to build individual advertising profiles.

How we use your information

Service delivery and account management

Your personal data is primarily used to create and maintain your Jai Club account, confirm bookings, process payments, and send transactional communications such as receipts and schedule reminders. Without this processing, we cannot fulfil the contractual obligations we owe you as a member. We rely on contract performance as our legal basis for these activities under applicable Indian data protection principles.

Marketing and communications

With your prior consent, we may send you promotional emails or SMS notifications about Jai Club events, exclusive member offers, and partner discounts. Every marketing message includes a clear one-click unsubscribe link. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal, and it will not impact your access to core Jai Club services. We do not sell or rent your contact details to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

Security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance

We analyse login patterns, device fingerprints, and transaction signals to detect unauthorised access and fraudulent activity. Where we identify a threat, we may suspend an account and notify affected users without delay. We also process data to comply with obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and any lawful requests from Indian regulatory or judicial authorities.

Your rights

Access, correction, and deletion

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data Jai Club holds about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate records, and to request deletion of data we no longer have a lawful reason to retain. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in the Contact Us section below. We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. In cases of complexity or high volume, we may extend this period by a further 30 days and will notify you accordingly.

Consent withdrawal and data portability

Where our processing relies on your consent, such as for marketing communications, you may withdraw that consent at any time with immediate effect going forward. You may also request that we provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format so you can transfer it to another service provider. We honour portability requests within 30 days of verification.

Complaints

If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant authority. In India, concerns relating to data processing practices may be directed to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) or, once the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 framework is fully notified, to the Data Protection Board of India.
